“Since the COVID-19 pandemic started things have been getting tougher for a lot of girls and women in my community. Especially those who are homeless or one paycheck away from being homeless. I knew first hand their struggles to buy essential hygiene products & other much needed items to properly care of themselves. This makes me SAD and I decided to take ACTION. I have purchased and gathered really nice pocketbooks and filled them with those items, a gift card, & inspirational messages. I will randomly give them to my Community SIsters that want them at various events or programs around Syracuse, NY”
A Parent’s memory
“Our community service project was developed to make single parents and guardians feel valued. To show our appreciation, we will be surprising up to 60 local parents/guardians with gifts of appreciation and a celebratory brunch”
